  • Is it possible to dynamic set the limit-definition of table?

    I know that one of approaches of voltdb to clean up data is to definite the table with row limitation, like the example as document shows:
    CREATE TABLE events (
    event_time TIMESTAMP NOT NULL,
    event_code INTEGER NOT NULL,
    event_message VARCHAR(128),
    LIMIT PARTITION ROWS 1000 EXECUTE
    ( DELETE FROM events WHERE SINCE_EPOCH(second,NOW) - SINCE_EPOCH(second,event_time) > 24*3600 )

    );

    But I am wondering whether can I dynamic change the definition of table above?
    For example, I create table events without row limitation at first,
    CREATE TABLE events (
    event_time TIMESTAMP NOT NULL,
    event_code INTEGER NOT NULL,
    event_message VARCHAR(128) );

    and then, I update the table and add rows limitation at certain point if I need it
Working...
