Questions about JDBC API

Hi,
I had a quick look at the JDBC API and encountered a few issues.

  1. Couldn’t use Commons DBCP BasicDataSource (a really useful/standard connection pool) because that calls conn.setAutoCommit(), which throws an exception
  2. Invoking a stored procedure with no arguments -> 'cannot submit empty query' exception
  3. Couldn’t pass Object[] (Types.ARRAY) as a stored procedure argument (like I can with the proprietary API) -> when I did I got an invalid arg exception

    Thoughts?
    Chris
Thanks for the feedback

The voter example includes an example use of the JDBC driver. As it happens, our current iteration includes some JDBC improvements / further productization. Making the connector more broadly useful is a current priority: https://issues.voltdb.com/browse/ENG-2650

I've captured the issues you've raised here separately: https://issues.voltdb.com/browse/ENG-2755
Thanks,

Ryan.
