Hi,

We are seeing some issue with the voltdb connection limit in the voltdb log and most of our connection to voltdb is failing


WARN: Rejected connection from /10.10.31.177:57612 because the connection limit of 9700 has been reached
WARN: Rejected connection from /10.10.31.176:39661 because the connection limit of 9700 has been reached
WARN: Rejected connection from /10.10.31.154:43144 because the connection limit of 9700 has been reached
WARN: Rejected connection from /10.10.31.157:31576 because the connection limit of 9700 has been reached
WARN: Rejected connection from /10.10.31.181:24662 because the connection limit of 9700 has been reached

Please let me know how we can increase the connection limit to fix this issue.

Harsha,

Just to sum what we did till now:

Increase the open file limit to 400000 per machine.
Use a pre determined IP address for internal communication since the machines are dual NICs.

I will post another update after our teamviewer session.
